I've found that I like to help people and this position seems like a great opportunity. I worked with the Gear Up program at UTEP, tutoring at Cordova Middle School. I have general knowledge of algebra, quite efficient at writing and grammar, and fairly learned in world history and social studies. I would like to tutor because I feel that I can make a connection with students and I would also like to use this opportunity to brush up and further my knowledge and skills for future classes in my field of study.
